afraid of bugs phobia
3 years terrified of bugs?

My sister is a centipede in my basement a few months ago and screaming and crying. My daughter sees this reaction, and since then has been much fear of insects. I kept the spiders and ants to show that it will not hurt, but she is still terrified and sobs her heart every time he sees any kind of error. She refuses to go out and play. Any suggestions on how to help out of this phobia?

Get errors toys, coloring books error, error storybooks. Discover songs of errors and error events. By showing their errors that can "control", which makes that is less stressful. Teach coping skills: "Shake It Off" is a good idea. Shake, Move, lapel of his / her hands and arms, jump and brush the same and say "Shake It Off". Why? Distracting activity, and gives an alternative to anger. It burns the tip of adrenaline you get from the response to fear and faster calm her. Provides control of the situation. Teach the facts about the bugs. Sometimes, knowing the names of the errors become more "friendly". Knowing that mistakes are not hunting for their willingness to help as well. Give alternatives. Ask him to choose the error and tell his mother. Ask him to flee. Have him step on it.
